What You Will Be Doing

  • Market available units through advertising and networking
  • Conduct viewings and manage rental applications
  • Screen tenants, verify rental history, and manage move-in inspections
  • Maintain accurate property and payment records
  • Handle tenant queries, coordinate maintenance, and liaise with contractors
  • Manage petty cash and oversee timekeeping of gardeners and cleaners
  • Conduct property inspections and assist with municipal billing resolutions
  • Report directly to the Owner while working independently

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant property management or leasing experience
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities
  • A friendly, professional presence and a ‘people-first’ mindset
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s licence and confidence driving locally and regionally
  • English fluency, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work after hours when required

The Essentials

  • Location: Work from home and report to Alrode South, Alberton (ideal for local residents)
  • Type: Permanent (subject to probation)
  • Start Date: 03 January 2026
  • Salary: Around R20,000 per month plus bonus
  • Tools Provided: Laptop with data and business-use vehicle (fuel card included)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for after-hours support
