Our client is in need of an experienced and resourceful Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organisations. First and foremost, we’re looking for a leader who understands how to leverage real data and capitalise on business trends and opportunities. We’re looking for an incumbent who is customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients. Candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team in an evolving industry landscape. Successful applicants should also be willing to travel.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop business plans with the new or assigned accounts
  • Design and develop strategic development strategies and plans 
  • Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies 
  • Oversee and examine new strategy progress and development
  • Conduct complex analysis in order to find new market opportunities 
  • Investigate existing products and services and compare them with competitors
  • Handle business deals operations and activities 
  • Oversee the implementation of different contracts 
  • Build, encourage and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Create and present a detailed report for Exco and Investment committee
  • Making recommendations and driving improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide input in terms of operationalizing new deal and business contracts with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist other divisions/departments with strategic investment opportunities where required
  • Must also be able to take the lead in defining and plotting the business strategy
  • Must demonstrate a technical understanding and appreciation of current and new technologies on the horizon (AI and/ or Blockchain) 

 

What you must have:

  • Previous working experience as s Business Development Consultant for 5 years+
  • Degree in Business Administration or similar relevant field
  • A proven track record of providing actionable solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
