Our client based Bryanston is seeking an incumbent to join their dynamic team as Head of Sales ....

  • Responsible for the full Sales value chain within the Consumer Brands Division - Nationally as well as Internationally, across different channels
  • This position will be responsible for the sales function across all channels in Consumer Brands
  • This position will be responsible for managing 5 Direct Reports and approx 40 indirect reports
  • Responsible for training and development of you staff as well as conducting performance reviews, etc.

  • Determining and implementing the Sales Strategy in line with Divisional Growth targets
  • Top Line P and L accountability
  • Negotiation of terms with key stakeholders (including Key Accounts)
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets
  • Team management
  • Managing objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • To lead and manage his/her delivery cross functionally across the business
  • Acting as a spokesperson for the organisation at sales events and conferences
  • Reporting and monitoring sales with key measures and action plans

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and management to the Sales team

  • Work with MD and Human Resource Manager to ensure appropriate staffing and establish performance management and development initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to develop high potential staff

  • 10-15 Years Sales experience at a senior Management level
  • Experience in dealing with the likes of Dischem, Clicks, Retail Stores and Independent Pharmacies / Salons at a senior level
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Qualification in Business Management advantageous
  • Must have excellent computer literacy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time, deadlines and processes effectively
  • Sound MS Office skills
